Where is forochel lotro

The enemies have a very fast respawn rate, and some are Signature tier mobs, making this task difficult for non-DPS classes. Personally I have always found Norsu-leiri the easiest to unlock. A red symbol will appear on your mini-radar when the enemy control the camp, which will turn blue once you have taken control and unlocked the quest givers. Have you ever managed to capture the Forochel control points? What tips would you give other players? I played through this area on my main, but missed this cool control points feature.

Thread: Forochel or Angmar? Advanced Search. Nov 10 , PM 1. Join Date Aug Posts Forochel or Angmar? Hey guys, i have a lvl 42 character whose stuck doing epic quests now.

I know Angmar is more fellowship based but does anyone know if there are enough solo quests in Angmar to get me to about lvl ? It also has the Fem armor set I am told. Thanks everyone! Reply With Quote. Nov 10 , PM 2. Join Date Oct Posts 4, One of these fine threads may be of service.

Nov 10 , PM 3. Join Date Sep Posts I went the Angmar route - don't really know why - and as others have mentioned it did indeed get harder in the later 40s. Made it through though and am now mostly in Eregion. I've not been able to do any of the full fellowship quests in Angmar, again as others have pointed out, because getting a group together proved nigh on impossible.

A lot of the 'small fellowship' quests were soloable though, and I mostly play solo though not necessarily by choice. Seems fellowing is just generally harder now - I'm a returning player after a few years out. Back then pre-Moria even I was falling over fellowships! However as I said I did get through Angmar with a lot of deaths solo! I'm a VIP player so have the luxury of going where I want. If you're limited to buying each area quests I suspect Forochel will suit you better soloing.

At some point I reckon I'll start another character and head to Forochel when the time's right. Mostly because I want to see it all! Good luck. Nov 10 , PM 4. Join Date Apr Posts 1, Sounds like you should go Forochel. Forochel has just enough questing to get you there and, yes, Angmar has more quests so would likely need less extra work.. The posted quest number is very deceiving. Forochel, on the other hand, only has 2 quests that require a group to do and a handful of small fellows that can be soloed on level or thereabouts for a fun solo challenge.

The Fem armour you get early on and is good enough all the way to Moria. There are lots of group quests, some of the small fellow quests can be soloed. You might get lucky and find a fellow for the larger ones but I didn't.

You also spend a lot of time in Angmar doing the Epic quest line. When the epic took me to Forochel for a short while, I can't say I liked the place, riding around that lake a couple of times was enough for me. Nov 10 , PM 7. Join Date Feb Posts I went the Angmar route because I liked what I saw and heard when I went up there from North Downs a few times, the eerie sound of the wind and the lunar blightedness of the place really spoke to me.

The note of caution about Angmar is that there is a ton of fellowship level content there, and that there are areas that are almost on total lockdown because the mobs are very dangerous I'm not sure what they are called where they have the gold eye on their icon, but the zone in the north east section is swarming with them. As far as deed kills go, there is a good choice of a variety of mobs to go after in Angmar.

I haven't finished all of the deed rewards yet working through Moria presently because the second tier was quite a large quota to kill and I was actually falling asleep trying to accomplish it in one go. It is good to know that I have all those TP just waiting for me though, and if I make one more run through the zone I will have gotten the most I can from the zone. I have read in related threads that Forochel is geared more toward the solo player, so I look forward to leveling an alt.

Just stick to the road as it winds its way through the mountain. Sooner or later you'll come out to a snowy area with a lake. Keep following the path and you'll run right into the village. Pynti-Peldot and Janis-leiri recommended The next location in Forochel has some good quests, but they are spread out all over. It's probably the worst area in Forochel for quests, so knock em' out quick and move on!

It winds all over the place and takes you on a ridiculously long walk through a huge glacier. It's kind of neat I suppose Zigilgund recommended This is my favorite area in Forochel by far. The quests are grouped tightly around the dwarven fortress and they go quickly. It is another loooong run through Forochel, but stay on it and you'll run right to Zigilgund.

You'll be finishing up on the eastern slopes. There's a gauradan camp in the south that can be a bit difficult, so watch out down there. Basically head northeast whatever way you choose. The only place to avoid is the way that leads to the giant halls. Follow the map and you should be ok.

Gabilshathur recommended Now it's back to Angmar. Hopefully you already completed the Epic - Vol. If you haven't you'll need to pick it up from Aragorn in Rivendell. It is required to go to eastern Angmar. Traveling to Gabilshathur Gabilshathur is found by heading east from the camp at Tyrn Lhug. Just run east through the swamp staying near the southern cliffs.
