Fallout 3 what happens if a trader dies

The guard is following just fine so a speculative guess is maybe placing a condition on following causes the engine to reevaluate and ignore the dead status?

Maybe someone can help do some experimentation. So after resurrecting Doc Hoff and resetting the GetDeadCount with my previous post everything is now good. If you're a little more tech savvy then this mod may not be necessary. Still waiting for a good soul, expert in gamebryo console, to help me out at least with the last option I suggested Copy and paste this: setessential bfa 1 setessential bf8 1 setessential bf7 1 setessential bf9 1 3.

Save and Name it Caravans 4. User Info: LoBoKhan And i though cantenbury commons can just give another replacement. User Info: aspelker. What is up with that? User Info: cornishpete. I thought that was all made up for the game. Was there a real one? Thank god. User Info: jackdarippa. Yes, Crazy Wolfgang has the highest repair.

I think he gives you some stealth boys if you invest. If a person is truly desirous of something, perhaps being set on fire does not seem so bad. User Info: Madanial. I ever seen a guard and trader's Brahim dead not far from Rivet City ,it seems that they use a bad route and ambushed buy super muties. But after i killed those muties ,i can't find trader's corpse anywhere. The junk merchant is nice later on cause he can get up to 75 repair skill, and the armor merchant gives you a unique version helm that is pretty un-noteworthy.

The other ones I killed, but from what I've heard are nothing special. The only one that worries me is that one of the mercs can die in this manner, and then will be impossible to get. I think it'd be ok if they just healed up after battles, but they don't. User Info: mounds. Any programmer will tell you not They are called flaws, and bad decisions. That is realism. User Info: Casyle. I normally don't say these kinds of things, but I'm sick of such retarded comments!

Yeah, it's really realistic that an area with nothing but molerats and bloatflies get replaced by Yao Guai and Deathclaws because you're stronger. It's really realistic that named NPCs stay the same throughout the game, while you and monsters get stronger. It's really realistic that these traders can't even defend themselves! It's really realistic that once a trader is gone nobody ever takes over selling the goods that that trader sold. If a trader died, he was replaced, not gone forever.

Which makes sense, people are opportunists, if the armor market is suddenly open, someone is going to jump in to provide those goods. So far all of my traders are still alive, but just barely. Crow's guard is missing and Wolfgang's bramhin is nearly dead. I'm worried about Harlin, as I haven't seen him in awhile.

I'm all for NPC's being in danger, but they should be able to defend themselves! A Yao Guai spawned and before I could get in range to even have a chance of killing it 2 people and a Brahmin were dead! One swipe each! Carla stepped on one of my mines, and Cricket walked straight into a fight in Quincy.

I was just about to make trade with Stash When she was killed by raiders, her bodyguards Lexa and Simon, also killed. I rolled back to previous save and all ok.
