If I was going to fix one thing in lemur, it would be improving the step sequencer objects. They play poorly with external sequencers, cannot be paused or reset easily and are not solid enough for reliable live use. Maybe I'll dig into the canvas object someday and work around this on my own. This app is incredible. It works flawlessly if you know what you're doing , it's beautiful to look at and the possibilities are endless.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Lemur. This version seems to be rock-solid and works immediately as soon as I boot up Ableton, which is all I really ask for other apps of this nature can be kind of a nightmare to get going, and nothing kills inspiration like troubleshooting.
While I'm duplicating buttons and whatnot, sometimes I forget to change the assigned output and I end up with two controls doing the same thing. This is such a minuscule thing to gripe about I feel a bit embarrassed bringing it up.
Thank you to the developers for this unbelievable software. It blows my mind that we live in a world where stuff this cool exists. As you may know, iPad IOS is impossible to downgrade so i am stuck in the future with a non working midi in and sysex in to Lemur. A brief update, i finally decided to be brave and install the new IOS version But I still cannot get sysex from my synths to Lemur, and midiout commands apparently do not work.
