Both of those are for a battle pet revive - the non-combat companion pets are different than hunter pets. There is no cooldown for a hunter pet revive, even when you first log in. One of them is mend pet, which automatically changes to revive pet when your pet has died. In the pet utility is a dismiss pet button which can be used to dismiss your current pet.

FWIW, all the buttons on the pet utility in the spell book can be dragged out of the utility and put on your action bar as individual buttons. That can be useful for trouble shooting pet situations. Saves the extra click for opening up the pet utility drop down and fumbling for the right button in the middle of a fight.

Go ahead and submit a ticket so that the Game Master team can work with you on this. Weirdly, all 3 commands work. The more you know! You have to abandon an existing pet to tame a new one. Just set Call Pet to whichever slot your main pet is in. If nothing happens, click again and it will revive. If your pet is there, it will just revive normally. If you die, your pet will vanish. Try using the whistle icon on the pet taskbar.

If your pet is alive, then it will suddenly appear. If your pet died before you, then you can revive your pet through a spell found in your spellbook. You can turn it off by right clicking on it.
